92 Points Vinous
The 2023 Zinfandel (Sonoma County) from Ehren Jordan's Day label is quite the powerhouse. A blast of wild black cherry, chocolate, menthol, licorice and dried herbs makes a strong opening statement. This voluptuous, juicy Zinfandel is a total pleasure bomb. Drink it over the next decade or so.
Winemaker Notes:
Aromatically the wine has notes of dehydrated raspberries and blueberry jam, with dried herbs and spicy peppercorns. On the palate, the wine has flavors of sweet red cherries, cobbler topping, tobacco, and wet rock.
