93 Points Wine Enthusiast
Blending fruit from grand cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs, this is a richly textured wine. It has structure as well as minerality, ripe white and citrus fruits, and good potential.
92+ Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
A blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, all sourced in grands crus villages, the NV Comte de Marne possesses a spicy, delicate bouquet of brioche, pastry, vanilla pod, ripe orchard fruits and confit citrus. Medium to full-bodied, enrobing and charming, it's well-structured and has a delicate balance and elegant mousse, segueing into a long, mouthwatering finish. It underwent malolactic fermentation and was disgorged with a dosage of seven grams per liter.
Its Great Growth feature speaks for itself: this is the Champagne of exception. Only remarkable years can produce a Comte de Marne cuvee. Listed terroirs combine with gastronomy. Rich and complex, its aromatic power requires refined dishes.
