95 Points James Suckling
A superprecise, reductive style due to bright lime-peel aromas enhanced by chalky minerality with linden tree and yellow plums. Light-bodied, it has zesty acidity with pinprick bubbles, a tight-knit structure and a chewy yet very polished finish.
91 Points Wine Spectator
A refreshing, well-balanced Champagne, with a refined mousse. Offers flavors of white cherry, poached pear and brioche, showing accents of lemon curd and candied ginger underscored by minerally hints of oyster shell and smoke. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Drink now.
90 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The latest release of Henriot's NV Brut Souverain offers up inviting aromas of white peach, apple blossom, nectarine and pastry cream. Medium-bodied, bright and fleshy, with a pretty core of fruit, tangy acids and a pillowy mousse, it's drinking well on release.
90 Points Wine Enthusiast
The nonvintage Champagne from this producer is beautifully textured, its white fruits lightly touched by a more steely edge. A fine Champagne to drink now.
Winemaker Notes
A beautiful gold color. The bubbles are persistent, fine and regular. The nose is pleasant, made very elegant by the large amount of Chardonnay. The Brut Souverain is sharp, well balanced and harmonious on the palate.
