The 2024 Cesani Vernaccia di San Gimignano is a vibrant, medium-bodied white wine crafted from 100% organic Vernaccia grapes grown in the high-altitude Pancole subregion of Tuscany. Fermented and aged briefly on lees in stainless steel, it offers a fresh and expressive profile. Aromas of white peach, acacia blossom, almond, and lemon peel lead into a palate marked by notes of citron, pear, light pineapple, and a subtle hint of basil. Its crisp acidity and mineral backbone make it an ideal pairing for lean fish, vegetarian dishes, pasta with light sauces, and appetizers such as cured meats or fresh cheeses. The wine’s clean finish and aromatic complexity also make it a refreshing aperitif.
