Winemaker Notes
The 2023 Juel displays a sense of movement through the entire spectrum of the vineyard. The higher, ethereal tones from the edges of our vineyard are displayed in delicate notes of soft violets, and zesty blood orange dance across the palate.Our son, Juel, embodies the wildness of our farm. Since he was a young boy, he has roamed freely and courageously through our 140 acres of forests, fields, and vines. This wine is a testament to his staunchly individual spirit, creativity, and joyous heart. It is a blend of the six selections of Pinot Noir grown at Antiquum Farm, which in concert convey the many dimensions of our vineyard in a complete estate wine.
