This 90% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot and 5% Colorino blend opens with aromas of dark-skinned fruit, underbrush and spice. The lithe palate offers Marasca cherry, white pepper and star anise alongside polished tannins.

Ruby in color. The bouquet is ample and intense, but also sweetly fruity, with wild berry fruit supported by pleasant noble wood, vanilla, and cocoa, and a surprising cherry finish. Dry and well structured, austere and elegant, harmonious, and with
excellent persistence.
 
A wine to be enjoyed throughout the meal; it pairs especially well with pasta and risotto, meats of all kinds, and moderately aged cheeses.
