A generous red in an elegant, medium- to full-bodied frame, with notes of mesquite smoke and bay leaf on the nose that form a savory baseline, underscoring the palate's ripe black currant, green olive, coffee and milled pepper. Well-knit, with supple tannins firming the finish. Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella. Drink now through 2030.
 
Winemaker Notes
On the nose, the typical notes of raisined fruit and cherry flavors are dominant. Mild hints of vanilla and spice are present as well. Elegant and warm with a velvety mouthfeel. Incredibly long, persistent finish that lingers on the palate.
