The inky, glass-staining 2021 Petite Sirah Royal Punishers offers up a gorgeous nose of pure blackcurrants, blackberries, peppery herbs, graphite, and darker chocolate. I love its purity, and it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a dense, concentrated mid-palate, ripe tannins, and a great finish. 
 
Winemaker Notes
Aromas of currants, blueberry, quince, violets, figs, molasses and graphite. The entry is weighty with a broad mid-palate structure which has layers of ripe, black fruit flavors. The oak profile is balanced and the tannins are medium grained which hold the fruit profile and carry a long, lingering finish.
