93 Points Wine Spectator
Perfumed aromas and flavors of bright, tart red fruit, bitter citrus peel, rose petals, bergamot and exotic spices. Lifted on the light- to medium-bodied palate, with crunchy fruit and potpourri coming through in the finish. Good value.
92 Points Jeb Dunnuck
Pouring a transparent ruby red color, the 95% estate-grown 2024 Pinot Noir Classique is spicy and aromatic with notes of forest earth, red cherry, and floral spice. Although fully destemmed, it is remarkably expressive. Medium-bodied, it is refreshing and bright, with attractive fruit sweetness, floral lift, and a lively spice profile that the winemakers attribute in part to Lucky River fruit in the blend.
Winemaker Notes
Opens with notes of blackberry, plum, and highlights of bing-cherry and cranberry on the nose. Fine, round tannins smooth out quickly on the elegant palate with red berries and light baking spice, and a hint of orange zest. Vibrant mouthfeel with darker fruits on the finish with mineral tones.
