The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Blueprint is a blend assembled from several sources. St. Helena, Yountville and Coombsville are all represented here. It was fermented in barrel (mainly used French oak) but matured in stainless steel. The result is a bit grassy and herbal but also ripe, with elements of fig, pear, melon and citrus. There are tons of fruit and a creamy texture on the medium to full-bodied palate, plus a lingering, lusciously ripe finish.
Winemaker Notes
The 2022 Blueprint Sauvignon Blanc shows vibrant aromas of honeydew melon, tangerine, green and yellow apple, lime and Asian pear. The texture is creamy and complex, with grapefruit, jasmine and Bartlett pear notes. There is a distinct minerability character, bolstered by citrus zest, sweet peas, mango and yellow elements. It is snappy, vivid, zippy and spirited - very much exemplary of the varietal.
