Ripe fruits with balsamic notes and a toasted note. A fruity finish with firm tannins.97% Tempranillo, 3% Graciano; alcohol: 14%; Finca de la Valentina estate vineyard in D.O.C. Rioja at 1900 feet; vines planted 1985 in clay-limestone, ferrous alluvial soils; hand harvested; destemmed; fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel and concrete tanks; aged 12 months in French and American oak barrels; bottle aged 6 months.
