Full and luscious ripe black fruit, with oak, licorice and cocoa notes. Lively acidity with an elegant finish.100% Tempranillo; alcohol: 14%; Los Anarinos, El Hoyo, El Rubial vineyards in D. O. Ribera del Duero between 2900–3085 feet; vines planted 1965–2001 in clayey-calcareous limestone; hand harvested; fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks; malolactic fermentation and aging 15 months in American and French oak barrels; bottle aged 12 months.
