Mineral and silky, well integrated fruit. Elegant and structured tannins on the lingering finish, approachable now and with quite a long life ahead.90% Tempranillo, 7% Graciano, 3% Viura; alcohol: 14%; estate vineyard El Ciego (“the blind”) at 630 meters; clay and limestone soils; vines planted 1960; hand harvested; fermented in stainless steel tanks, 25 days maceration with daily pumpovers; aged 30 months in French and American oak barriques; aged 24 months in bottle.
