92 Points Jeb Dunnuck
The 2019 Napa Valley Reserve Red is a smoking value based on 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, 9% each of Petite Sirah and Cabernet Franc, and the rest Syrah and Merlot. Medium to full-bodied, opulent, and mouth-filling, with a great nose of ripe dark fruits, tobacco, cedarwood, and chocolate, it’s beautifully balanced and already hard to resist. Drink it over the coming 7-8 years.
90 Points Wine Enthusiast
This deep and full-bodied blend offers plenty of chocolate, dried plum and blackberry flavors backed by moderate tannins that grab a little traction on the palate.
Winemaker Note
Beautiful aromas of blackcurrants, spice box, raspberry, blueberry and dried flowers greet the nose in this Red Wine. The textured mouthfeel is full of flavor with plum preserves, mulberries, cinnamon stick and laced with lavender, rose petal and spice. This is a charming wine with a bold freshness and silky tannins followed by a savory finish. Blend: 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, 10% Petite Sirah, 8% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec, 1% Merlot
