93 Points International Wine Report
The 2025 Lange Estate Rosé of Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills, is a remarkably focused and layered expression, produced exclusively from free-run juice and matured in a combination of stainless steel and neutral French oak puncheons. The aromatic profile leads with notes of yellow nectarine, blood orange zest, and crushed lemongrass, underscored by a hint of red currant compote. On the palate, the wine reveals a sophisticated depth, offering a core of white peach and Rainier cherry that transitions into vibrant nuances of saline and crushed stones. Driven by a precise, linear acid line, the structure remains energetic and expansive through a persistent, saline-flecked finish.
Winemaker Notes
The Rosé presents apricot, tangerine pith, lemongrass, and raspberry jam. It is long and lingering on the palate, with nectarine, apricot, and yuzu citrus. This vintage boasts quiet confidence, with layers that continue to unfold across the palate carried on by a linear acid line. It’s spring to summer in a glass. Crafted with fruit from our Dundee Hills Estate and vinted with 100% free-run juice and aged in neutral French oak puncheons and stainless steel. Individual lots were fermented with a variety of proprietary yeasts, which contribute to this wine's balanced character and vivid aromatic complexity. After a 5-month élevage, the finished wine was filtered and bottled.
