I enjoyed the way this wine's aromas of sweet dark raspberries and violets played off of a spicy daikon radish note. A sturdy wall of tannins holds up flavors of black cherries, cedar, olive oil a wee wisp of bacon fat. I can't wait to try a glass of the Yamhill-Carlton with my next bánh mì. Or a Coleman Hawkins album.
