Winemaker Notes
Our Pinot Noir shows that patience and experience matter. Aging this wine for an average of 12 months in a combination of new and used French oak barrels imparts hints of vanilla, waffle cone and toasty oak. A moderate grip of acidity and low tannins allow this expressive wine to complement a wide range of foods.
Elegant and balanced, this wine showcases the lush fruit and finesse typical of the Russian River. The nose opens with delicate aromas of crushed violets and ripe raspberries, layered with subtle earthy tones and a hint of tea leaf. On the palate, it is soft and inviting on entry, with a round, supple texture, offering flavors of candied red fruit, wild strawberry, and herbal undertones, all framed by a fine dusting of well-integrated tannins.
