92 Points James Suckling

Blueberries, dried herbs, plums and Sichuan peppercorns on the nose of this syrah-dominant GSM blend. It’s supple and full-bodied, with lovely soft tannins accompanying the succulent and spicy fruit. 78% syrah, 18% grenache and 4% mourvedre. Drink now or hold.

90 Points Vinous

The 2022 Syrah Columbia Valley wafts up with a delicate blend of balsamic-tinged blackberries and minty herbs. It is lifted and energetic, with mineral-laced wild berry fruits cascading across the palate, while a bump of juicy acidity maintains energy throughout. The 2022 finishes spicy and long with tart berry saturation. This easy-drinking Syrah is hard not to like.

90 Points Jeb Dunnuck

Full-bodied, the 2022 Syrah Columbia Valley comes from several stunning sites, including the producer's estate Seven Hills. There's 18% Grenache and 4% Mourvèdre. Smooth, well-balanced, and earthy, it has an herbal quality to the ripe red and black berry fruit, good structure, and approachability, finishing in baking spice and lavender.

90 Points Wine Enthusiast

Here's a Syrah, with 18% Grenache and 4% Mourvèdre that would like to take you on a picnic. The journey begins with aromas of dusty blackberries picked roadside and notes of rose petals and pine wood. The flavors are a sweet combination of cherry pie, pie crust and Madagascar vanilla. I'd suggest breaking out the picnic blanket and heading to the great outdoors with this wine.

Winemaker Notes:

This full-bodied Syrah shows robust, fruit-forward aromas of blueberry, chocolate, thyme, and spice box accentuated with hints of violet, sage, and anise. Juicy, dark fruit flavors laced with spice reveal themselves on the velvety palate with an immensely pleasurable mouth-filling finish.
