93 Points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The 2023 Cuvée Juveniles Blanc is sedate and driven by dry extract; it is wider than it is sweet or intense, and the flavor across the palate draws out long over the finish. This is a classy wine here, with lemongrass, chalk, pear skin and green almond. It has an intense mid-palate with very pretty flavor; it's structured like Chenin Blanc. I like it, a lot.

94 Points Australian Wine Companion

Cuvée Juveniles is an iconic name in contemporary Barossan wine. A young drinking wine by design, a blend of 45% grenache, 36% mataro, 17%, carignan and 2% counoise, light on the oak, big on drinkability. High-toned with purple floral and jasmine top notes, juicy red fruits and layered spice, gingerbread, biltong and exotic spice from the mataro, fine, silty tannins and just an effortless, slurpy, easy-drinking vibe.

Winemakers Notes

Cuvée Juveniles was created as a ‘Cote Du Rhone’ inspired bistro wine from the classic Barossa varieties of Grenache, Mataro (Mourvedre) and Shiraz from mostly old, unirrigated vineyards.  These varieties are the cornerstone of the Barossa Valley and are intrinsic in the wines that are so easily appreciated around the world and often referred to as GSM blends by sommeliers and consumers alike.45% Grenache, 36% Mataro, 17% Carignan, 2% Counoise
