Winemaker Note
The locality known as "Les Buis" preserves the memory of the sacred boxwood tree of the Druids. Even today, boxwood trees surround the site.
This wine has a delicately perfumed nose, with hints of red fruit (blackcurrant, morello cherry). Elegant and typical Pinot Noir aromas, sometimes with a touch of earthiness.
Its now recognized quality has allowed it to join the ranks of Premier Cru wines. It pairs beautifully with roast meats, chickens, mushrooms (black trumpets or chanterelles), and cheeses.
