Kistler’s 2023 Chardonnay Les Noisetiers is rich and creamy in the glass, not to mention quite sophisticated. In this vintage, some of the nutty character (after which the wine is named) is more subtle than in past years. Lemon confit, white flowers and tangerine oil all grace the palate, building into an understated yet beautifully resonant finish. The 2023 is driven by strong citrus and floral inflections rather than the almond/hazelnut profile often found in this bottling

A classic balance of layered, juicy fruit and mineral backbone. It is delicious wine, with white flowers and stone fruit aromatics leading to a full bodied, juicy core, loaded with flavors of peach, apricots, pineapple and pear. The finish goes a mile long.
