Winemaker Notes
The intent with Classique is to harmonize all of the snapshots of terroir provided by the lieux-dits (single vineyards), to create a balanced representation of the small (8 miles) yet complex region that they work in, to communicate the idiosyncrasies of the vintage, and to create a tac-tile narrative of place. The 2019 vintage is precise, pure, and very aromatic with grapefruit and violet leading to a persistent and bright finish with a salty freshness that is the hallmark of Seneca Lake.Blend: 100% Riesling
