A very polished, fine-tannined Barolo with energy and focus. Plenty of plum, strawberry and cedar character. It’s full-bodied, yet tight and refined. Racy finish. A beauty. One of the best I have had from here. Drink after 2022 and onwards.

Notes of tar and licorice underline this wine’s bright red-cherry and orange-peel flavors. Mid-weight in body, with an open-knit structure, the wine’s appeal is in its mouthwatering acidity and juicy fruit.
 
Winemaker Notes
Clean, full and intense nose, with typical traces of withered flowers, dry leaves and underbrush. Robust and well-bodied, with acidity and firm tannins that give a sense of freshness that prolongs the finish.
Ideal with rich red meats, varying according to the wine and vintage, and medium and mature cheeses. Also lovely as an after-dinner wine.
