The 2020 Chardonnay from the Appassionata Estate Vineyard was barrel-fermented and -matured for 23 months in 500-liter French oak casks plus an additional year in bottle. It has alluring scents of matchstick, crème brûlée, peach and Meyer lemon. The medium-bodied palate offers creamy, spicy flavors. A touch of textural grip is balanced by focused acidity, and it has a long, creamy finish. 130 cases were made.
