Seamed with saline minerality and fleshed out with mixed cherries and thyme, this silky Pinot shows just how detailed appellation-labeled wines from Santa Barbara can be. The finish lingers with brambleberries embraced by tealike tannins, ending on a savory note.

Black raspberry, sage and lavender aromas make for a complex and inviting nose on this countywide cuvée. The palate pairs floral elements with herbal nuances, as black and red plum flavors form the core.

Medium ruby-hued, the 2023 Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir reveals exotic red and darker berry fruits intermixed with flowers, spice, and forest underbrush notes. Based on a 50/50 split of two vineyards and aged 10 months in 25% new French oak, it's medium-bodied and has a pure, balanced, elegant mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and outstanding length. This is a brilliant value in California Pinot Noir.

The 2023 Siduri ‘Santa Barbara County’ Pinot Noir comes from this slightly cooler vintage. A blend of Santa Rita Valley and Santa Rita Hills sites, this delvers fresh sage and sea spray alongside cranberry. The palate is fresh and lithe with a polished mouthfeel. Drink 2025-2032
Winemaker Notes
The Siduri Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir is sourced primarily from vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills - the darling for Pinot wine collectors. Aromas of dried cranberry, mission fig and exotic spice are bolstered by flavors of Damson plum, fresh raspberry, black plum and fresh earth, all framed by a broad texture and palate-lengthening brightness for mushroom risotto or grilled salmon.
