Winemaker Notes
Oeil-de-perdrix, French for "eye of the partridge" is a traditional term for this wine's seductive color. To capture this shade along with the wine's crisp acidity and bold berry flavors, they lightly press Pinot Noir whole clusters, then allow the wine a brief affair with French oak barrels during and after fermentation.
 
A delightful wine that exudes elegance and sophistication. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of ripe strawberries, raspberries, and watermelon, along with floral notes of rose petals and orange blossom. The fruit aromas are complemented by a subtle hint of spice, which adds a layer of depth to the wine.
 
On the palate, the Sonoma Rose 2022 is crisp and refreshing, with vibrant acidity that balances the wine's sweetness. The flavors of fresh red berries are pronounced, with a slightly tart finish that lingers on the tongue. The wine has a medium body and a silky texture that makes it easy to drink.
