Blend: 99% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Cabernet Franc
95 Points from Vinous
The 2014 Three Graces is a new wine from Clos du Val that replaces the former Reserve. Inky, rich and powerful, the 2014 possesses superb intensity and resonance, with plenty of dark fruit spice, lavender and French oak notes. I suspect it will be at least a few years before the 2014 starts to show its full potential.

Aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants and dried flowers. Some wet earth. Full-bodied, layered and fruity. Shows richness with tension. A blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and petit verdot. Drink in 2021.
94 Points from Wine Enthusiast
A spectacular capturing of an estate-grown site, this substantial age-worthy red is floral and intriguing in flavors of pencil, leather satchel, cedar and dried herb, even a touch of soy burrowing within. A touch of reduction makes it compelling to think about aging. Cellar Selection
Both the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc were grown in the finest blocks of the vintage in Hirondelle Estate vineyard, blocks B5B and A5 respectively. The wine exudes a strong briary aroma with mint chocolate and cedar notes. With a complex flavor profile including blueberry, blackberry and cream notes, the tannins are persistent on the palate without being overpowering.
