Location: At The Vintage Wine Shoppe: We charge $250 to host the event. This is for a wine professional to plan and host the tasting, as well as one other employee to help facilitate the event. Larger crowds may require additional employees and additional cost. We will handle the set up and clean up. This also includes the use of our Riedel wine glasses. We can facilitate a stand up wine tasting for 35 people, or a seated class for 18 people. Friday and Saturday Nights: $300.
At Your Home or Local Location of Your Choosing: We charge $150 for off-site events. This is for a wine professional to plan and host the tasting, as well as delivery of the wine to your location. Larger crowds may require additional employees and additional cost. Friday or Saturday: $200. Riedel wine glass rental available for $2 per glass. Standard small tasting wine glass rental available for $1 per glass.
Wine: The wine cost is based on the wines you select. We will have a wine professional help you choose a theme and plan the wines. We can feature wines from any price point. Most people choose wines that are between $15 and $50 a bottle and present 5-8 different wines. There are 25 ounces of wine per bottle, so 1 bottle of each wine will allow 18-20 people to taste each wine. The total cost of the wine for 20 people to taste is typically between $75 and $400, and is dependent on the quantity and price of the wines. Purchases of 12 or more bottle will receive a 10% case discount.
Time: Events are typically an hour and a half. Events held at The Vintage Wine Shoppe on weeknights are held after hours from 7-8:30. Events held at The Vintage Wine Shoppe on Saturday night are from 6-7:30.
Food: You can have your event catered, prepare your own food, or we can provide the food. We offer a food package for $150 that includes 4 pieces of gourmet cheese (hand selected to pair with the wines), salami, grapes, bread, crackers, gourmet extra virgin olive oil, paper plates, toothpicks, and napkins. Pricing based off of hors d'oeuvres for 18 people.
