Raised on a farm in Minnesota, Arthur spent eighteen years following his WWII Naval service working for design and decorating firms in San Francisco. He opened his own business in 1966 and enjoyed worldwide success with custom mountings of his own vast mineral collection. During succeeding decades he traveled the globe in search of exotic specimens created by both nature and man, taking a greater and greater hand in designing the products he presented to his customers. He is best known for the marvelous, intricate aluminum creations that form the large part of the Courts' business today.

Riedel: When it comes to wine glasses, stemware in general, and crystal there is but one name to know and remember: Riedel (rhymes with needle). Stretching back to 1673, through 11 generations, the Riedel family has, quite simply, perfected the art of crystal.
Riedel stemware is so important to the enjoyment of wine one of the foremost experts in the wine world, Robert M. Parker, Jr., the creator and editor of The Wine Advocate, felt compelled to comment, “The finest glasses for both technical and hedonistic purposes are those made by Riedel. The effect of these glasses on fine wine is profound. I cannot emphasize enough what a difference they make.”

Spiegelau: Acquired in 2004 by Riedel, Spiegelau is a tremendous artisan crystal crafthouse in its own right. The creed at Speigelau is, “Sometimes you can have it all.” This is evident in the quality and structure of their product line. We carry a wide array of decanters and stemware from Spiegelau, and can order items which we do not have in our current stock. These are "high performance" wine glasses crafted with a remarkable marriage of elegance, functionality and durability.
